Closer Bond

At A Closer Bond Dog Training School, obedience training is a way of life. We view training as your dog’s education for the real world.

Your dog wants to please and be your best friend.  We know the key to accomplishing this goal is through a comprehensive obedience training program that involves both the dog and the owner.  Using proper motivation and encouragement, we guarantee our training programs will enhance the relationship between you and your pet, creating a closer bond.

The Staff...

All of the trainers at A Closer Bond are certified through National K-9 School for Dog Trainers.  All trainers have mastered all aspects of Dog Training and Kennel Management.  Our trainers are committed to the best care and well-being of our clients' dogs.  Skills are updated on an ongoing basis through continuing education programs.  We are dedicated and trained to take the best care of you and your dog.  What makes A Closer Bond Dog Training School unique and sets us apart is our special interest in your success.

Benefits of Professional Training

As a responsible dog owner, we understand you want the best for your dog.  Professional dog training may cost more than your local dog group class, however, the lasting effectiveness and added benefits greatly outweigh the additional investment.  Unless you have two or more hours a day to concentrate on teaching your dog new obedience skills, a large group class will seldom provide you with the results you truly desire.  Our programs take into account you and your dog’s individual needs and include these benefits:

  • One-on-one attention to meet your needs and concerns.

  • Training approaches that suit your dog's unique personality and skill level.

  • Appointments scheduled around you.

  • Your work with a professionally trained and certified instructor, not a novice, in all aspects of training and problem solving.

  • Training approaches based on positive motivation and encouragement, not bribery using food, fear or intimidation.

  • Your and your dog won't get "lost in the crowd" of a larger group.

  • Continuing education and assistance for you and your dog.

  • Assistance available whenever you need it Monday-Saturday, 9am-7pm.

  • Training that involves the whole family (including young children), not just one or two family members.
